Father dies of son's gunshot wound in Cox's Bazar

Relatives rescued him and took him to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital. When the condition worsened there, doctors sent him to Chittagong Medical College Hospital. Later, he was admitted to a private hospital in Chittagong for better treatment. He died at around 2pm on Sunday (June 7) while undergoing treatment there.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ramu Police Station Monirul Islam Bhuiyan said that the police came to know about the shooting of the father and visited the spot. Necessary legal action will be taken based on the complaint and investigation.

He said that the accused Zubair is absconding since the incident. The operation to arrest him is continuing.
