The young HSC exam candidate has been on hunger strike at her boyfriend Tahjid Hossain's house for six days demanding marriage in Pabna. Tahjid Hossain is missing.
The lover is a resident of Ulat Kadwa village of Sujanagar upazila in Pabna. Tahjid Hossain is the son of Shafi Molla of Ulat Mollapara village.
The girl's father said that Tahjid Hossain was in a relationship with his daughter for two years. They associate intimately with the promise of marriage. Last May 31 around 12 midnight, Tahzeed spent the night with her daughter at her house with the help of her brother-in-law Aqibul Haque. When they were caught by the locals in an offensive position, Tahjid managed to escape.
On June 1, the lover went to Tahjid's house to demand marriage. Tahjid ran away from home late at night. Since then the young woman has been staying at that house.
The girl's cousin said that after learning about the incident, both parties decided to get married. But local politics is destroying this environment. The third party is inciting to take the matter to the police station.
Tahjid's mother Beauty Khatun confirmed the truth of the boy-daughter love relationship and said that their dispute with the girl's family has been going on for a long time over land. After finding out about the affair, she pressured her son Tahjid to withdraw from the affair. Although the contact was stopped for a few months, the girl tricked her and took her to a secluded place to cut the birthday cake.
He also said, “When the girl came to my house, I decided to get married through the mediation of the locals.” But one side continues to conspire to divert the matter.”
Sujanagar Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Lalbur Rahman said that he came to know about the incident on Thursday (June 4). The girl is probably preparing to file a case. Since the higher officials know the whole incident, they will take necessary action.
