Distribution of water, umbrellas and fans in severe heat in Gopalganj

The suffering of common people has increased in Gopalganj due to intense heat. For this reason, Red Crescent Unit, Gopalganj branch has distributed free water, umbrellas and fans to common people.

Zilla Parishad Administrator and District Red Crescent Unit Chairman Sharif Rafikuzzaman inaugurated the program by feeding water and distributing umbrellas and fans at Launchghat area of ​​Gopalganj district town on Wednesday (June 3).

District Red Crescent unit level officer Biplab Kumar Biswas, youth chief Zubair Khan and other members were present.

Later, the members of the unit went around the city and distributed umbrellas and fans among the common people. In addition, people who are thirsty in summer, especially rickshaw and van drivers, are given water to drink.

Zilla Parishad Administrator and District Red Crescent Unit Chairman Sharif Rafikuzzaman said, Red Crescent works in the service of humanity worldwide. Severe heat is going on across the country. From ordinary people to working people are in trouble. So this program has been taken thinking about them.

Today, 100 umbrellas, 1000 liters of water and 5000 fans have been distributed. It is said that umbrellas, water and fans will be distributed in different places of the district for the next 7 days. Besides, awareness miking is being done across the city.
