Husband and wife die of electrocution in Bogra

Husband and wife died due to electrocution in Kahalu upazila of Bogra. This shocking incident took place in Belgharia Dakshinpara area of ​​the upazila around 3 pm on Thursday (June 4).

The deceased are Anwar Hossain (60) and his wife Ramisha Khatun (55) of Belgharia Dakshinpara area of ​​the upazila.

According to local sources, in the afternoon a person named Putu Mia went to Anwar Hossain's house to drink water. When he went there, he found the husband and wife lying unconscious with electric wires. Later on his screams, the people around rushed to the spot and reported the matter to the police. Kahalu Thana police went to the spot after receiving the information.

Kahalu Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shafiqul Islam said, the police visited the spot. It is initially believed that the couple died due to electrocution. The bodies of the deceased have been preserved. Necessary legal proceedings are under process in this incident.
