
BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, who is undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in the capital, has been shifted from the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) to the cabin.
The party's general secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir gave this information on Thursday evening. He said that Khaleda Zia was shifted from CCU to cabin as her physical condition improved.
BNP chairperson was taken to CCU when he developed breathing problems on May 3.
On April 11, Khaleda Zia was diagnosed with coronavirus infection. Although initially treated at home, he was admitted to Evercare Hospital on April 28.
