Yabas and policemen arrested in Bogra

District Detective Police (DB) arrested two persons including a policeman along with 300 pieces of Yaba in Bogra. They were arrested from Tinmatha Railgate area of ​​Bogra city on Saturday (May 23) morning.

The arrested are Saidur Rahman (32), a member of the Jaipurhat district police, and Abdul Wahab (40), a sacked policeman.

According to police sources, Saidur Rahman was absent from work for the last two months. It is alleged that at that time he got involved in drug dealing by renting a house in Bogra.

Bogra district DB police in-charge Iqbal Bahar said, “On the basis of secret information, a team of DB stationed themselves in Tinmatha railway gate area. Later, they arrested two people while selling yaba. At that time, 300 pieces of yaba were recovered from them. Preparations are underway to file a case against the arrested two under Narcotics Control Act at Bogra Sadar police station.”
