He shared that post on his Facebook ID.

Gaffer claimed in the press conference that since these incidents, he and his family have been threatened in various ways. As a result of this, on Thursday (June 4) around 9:15 pm, an attack took place at his village house in Sagaria Bazar area of Burirachar Union of Hatia Upazila.

Describing the attack, he said, “I don't live at home. My elderly parents live there. The attack was planned to terrorize them. Such an attack on a family because of expression is not acceptable in any way.”

Gaffar alleged that the attackers targeted his house by pelting bricks and breaking windows. He blamed the followers of MP Hannan Masood for the incident.

He also claimed that after the attack, the incident was diverted and his family members were treated disrespectfully.

Gaffer made four demands to the administration from the press conference. The demands are – an impartial investigation into the incident of the attack, speedy identification of those involved and bringing them to justice, ensuring the safety of his family and relatives and taking strict legal action against the helpers behind the incident.

Incidentally, it was alleged that the house of Abdul Ghaffar was attacked and vandalized in Burirachar Union of Hatia Upazila of Noakhali last Thursday night.
