Human chain demanding execution of killers of auto driver

A human chain has been organized to demand the hanging of the killers of battery-operated auto driver Arif in Tangail.

This hour-long program was organized in front of the Tangail Press Club on Wednesday (June 3) under the banner of landless associations and local residents.

Gala Union Parishad Chairman Nazrul Islam, Arif's father Abu Saeed, local residents Abdul Alim, Salim Miah, Sujan Howlader and others spoke.

The speakers said that the police recovered Arif's half-melted body from the Yamuna river in Sirajganj on May 31, seven days after his disappearance. Tanveer, Raisul, Shafi and Belal were arrested by the police in this incident. I demand the maximum punishment of the arrested.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Tangail Model Police Station Ruhul Amin said that four people have been arrested in the investigation of the incident.
