Mosaddek talked about playing the 2027 World Cup after returning to the team

Mosaddek Hossain Saikat returned to the national team after four years. The selectors gave him a chance for the first two ODIs of the three matches against Australia. If everything goes well, he will make his comeback in the first ODI on June 11.

The right-arm off-spin all-rounder returned to the national team after shining in domestic cricket. Mosaddeq does not want to limit his return to just one match or one series. Want to play for a long time. The 2027 ODI World Cup is on his mind. Mosaddek believes that if he performs, he can play another World Cup.

“If I want to achieve that (2027 World Cup), I have to play well in the previous series when I get the chance. When I can play well, then I can hope that a golden opportunity is waiting for me in the 2027 World Cup,” Mossadeq told the media in Mirpur on Thursday (June 4).

Mosaddeq lives in and out. Although the return this time was a little longer, he never lost hope. He believed that opportunity would come. Mossadegh commented, “After a long time, almost 4 years in all. It's been a long time and I've had to play well wherever I've played.
