Various household items kept on the bed and table in the classroom
Residents said that while teaching in the school, various family activities are done in that room, starting from cooking. The activities which have been going on for more than six months are disrupting the normal teaching activities of the entire school.
The parents demanded that necessary measures be taken to vacate the room. No teacher-employee of the school agreed to talk about this.
On condition of anonymity, a parent of a class II student said that teacher Shiulika Parveen has been occupying a room in the school for a long time. The smell of food spreads in the classroom due to cooking during the class in the school. As a result, students are disturbed in their studies and lose their attention.

A parent of a fourth class student said that the school is not a place to stay. Still, for six months, the former head teacher and the current assistant teacher have been living using a room in the school.
Shiulika Parvin, assistant teacher of the school, said, “Our land has been donated to this school. We are living in one room as there is no place to stay. The classroom we are staying in is not being used for school teaching. If there is a problem, we will move elsewhere.”
Kalapara Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Kaushar Hamid said, “The matter will be investigated and administrative action will be taken.”
