US, Israeli forces ready to attack Iran: Netanyahu

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that US and Israeli forces are ready to attack Iran. He said this in an interview given to CNBC news channel on Wednesday (June 3).

Asked if the ceasefire was still in place after the recent attacks in Kuwait and Bahrain, Netanyahu said, “Iran certainly knows what the (US) president said, and will return to full-scale military operations if necessary.”

“It's the president's decision. Israel is ready and so are the US forces. I think Iran should be taken into consideration. I think they are taking it into account, but they're playing with fire, it's clear,” he said.

Netanyahu said the US-Israeli war against Iran 'is not over.' But he insisted Tehran had been 'weakened' by the war.

The Israeli Prime Minister said that he talks to US President Trump once every two days.

He said, “Even if we sometimes disagree on strategy, we reach a solution.”
