After losing her only son, mother Mukta Akhter fainted again and again. Mahir's father Abdul Qayyum Renu and sister Laiva were screaming and crying.
Mahir Shahriar (21) died in a microbus-motorcycle collision at Charhosenpur area of ​​Mymensingh-Kishorganj highway of Ishwarganj upazila of Mymensingh on Saturday (30th Mo).
Eyewitness of the incident, Sheikh Tofail Ahmed Riyad said, I was going home from Ishwarganj. Suddenly Mahir's motorcycle overtook me and collided with the microbus coming from the opposite direction after going twenty yards. In this, Mahir fell on the side of the road along with the motorcycle. Locals rescued him with serious injuries and took him to the Upazila Health Complex, where doctors declared him dead.
According to family sources, Mahir lived with his parents at Kalibari Road in Dattapara village of Ishwarganj town. He woke up on Saturday morning and went for a ride with his motorcycle and returned as a dead body.
Mahir's village home is in Musalli area of ​​neighboring Nandail upazila. His father Abdul Qayyum Renu is a resident of Ishwarganj Upazila.
