All the English medium schools of the country are being brought under a uniform policy, stated the Minister of State for Primary and Mass Education Bobby Hajjaz.
He said, “The government is working to build an integrated and accountable structure to ensure quality education for all students of the country. For that purpose, all English medium schools in the country are being brought under a common policy. This initiative has been taken to ensure the quality of education, quality of teaching, safety of students, accountability and issues of national interest.”
He said this while visiting The Aga Khan Academy on Wednesday.
During this time, he visited the exhibitions organized by the students and observed their various research, innovative projects and creative presentations.
The State Minister said, “We want to build an education system where students will not only do well in exams, but also learn to think, learn to innovate and learn to lead. Today's students will lead the Bangladesh of tomorrow. Therefore, one of our main goals is to develop them with world-class skills, values ​​and creativity.”
“We want an education system where no matter which stream the students study in Bengali medium, English version or English medium, everyone will have an equal opportunity to acquire national values, civic responsibility and international standard skills,” said the state minister.
Bobby Hajjaz praised the institute for its modern teaching methods, student-centered teaching and leadership development programs.
He called for further expansion of research, innovation and creative education programs in other educational institutions of the country.
Teachers, students and concerned officials of The Aga Khan Academy were present during the visit.
