Members of the fire service are working to rescue the bus that fell into the pond
A bus lost control and fell into a roadside pond in Khulna's Dumuria. A passenger named Saidur Rahman Said (25) was killed in this incident. Seven-eight people were injured.
The accident took place in front of Gutudia PCF Feed Industries of the upazila at around 9:30 am on Wednesday (June 3).
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Dumuria police station Khandaker Hafizur Rahman Hafiz informed about the death of the accident.
The deceased is the son of Sardar of Achabur of Saidur Paikgacha Upazila.
Locals said that the bus was coming from Paigacha to Khulna with passengers. The bus fell into a pond when the driver lost control in front of Gutudia PCF Feed Industries. Firefighters rushed to the spot and started rescue operations. One passenger died on the spot. The injured have been admitted to Dumuria Upazila Health Complex.
