Judge on Eid vacation, thief broke the lock and took everything

A theft has taken place at the residence of District and Sessions Judge Syed Amina Farhin of Child Violence Prevention Tribunal in Brahmanbaria.

The incident took place on the second floor of the Titus Twin Towers in the district town's Maulvipara in the early hours of Saturday (May 30). Judge Amina Farhin lives on rent in that flat.

Ratan Mia, the caretaker of Titus Twin Towers, said that the judge went home with a lock on the flat during the Eid holiday.

It was seen on the CCTV camera that three people broke the rear grill and climbed to the second floor in the early morning. Later broke the lock of the flat and entered. There they broke two cupboards and took away all the goods. When the matter was noticed in the morning, the police was informed.

Brahmanbaria Sadar Circle Additional Superintendent of Police MM Raqib Ur Raja said, “This incident happened on the occasion of the judge being on leave. However, the amount of stolen goods is not yet known as he was not present. Police operation is on in this incident.”
