Lecturer dies of electrocution in Natore

A college lecturer died due to electrocution in Sadar Upazila of Natore. The accident happened on Monday (June 8) evening.

Deceased Belal Uddin (52) was a lecturer in the accounting department of Tamaltala Agriculture and Technical Degree College of Natore Sadar Upazila.

Locals said that he was seriously injured after being exposed to electricity in his area on Monday evening. Relatives rushed him to Natore Sadar Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

The sudden death of Belal Uddin has cast a shadow of grief among the teachers and students of the college and the residents.

Colleagues said that Belal Uddin was an honest, talented and student-friendly teacher. He was teaching with devotion for a long time.

SI Rafiqul Islam of Natore Sadar police station said that Belal Uddin died after being taken to the hospital due to electrocution. The matter has been informed by the family.

The Tamaltala Agriculture and Technical Degree College family expressed deep grief over the death of lecturer Belal Uddin. At the same time, condolence has been expressed to the bereaved family.
