New chairman in five education boards and NCTB

The government has appointed new chairman for the five education boards of the country. The National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) has also appointed a new chairman.

A separate notification was issued by the Ministry of Education on Monday (June 8).

The notification said that Professor Syed Aktaruzzaman has been appointed as the new chairman of Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board. This professor of Islamic history and culture was serving as the controller of examinations in the Mymensingh Education Board. Khandokar Ehsanul Kabir was serving as the chairman of the Dhaka Education Board for so long. He has been attached to Dhaka College.

Shamim Ara Chowdhury, who is in charge of the secretary of the same board, has become the chairman of the Rajshahi board.

Philosophy professor Md. became the chairman of Comilla Education Board. Ahsan Parvez. He was the Principal of Devidwar Government SA College, Comilla.

Professor Farooq Azam has been appointed as the new chairman of Jessore Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board. Abdus Salam. He is the Principal of Government Haji Muhammad Mohsin College, Khulna.

Professor Khondkar Mohammad Sadekur Rahman has been made the new chairman of Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board. He was serving as secretary of Comilla Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board.

Professor Mohammad Fakhrul Mawla has been appointed as the chairman of NCTB. This professor of accountancy was working as the vice-principal of the Government Commerce College of Chittagong.
