Israel and the United Arab Emirates are getting closer because of the war with Iran, an Israeli official said. The official told the news agency AFP on Tuesday (June 2).
The official spoke of opportunities for increased military cooperation between Israel and trade and business ties with the emirate.
The Gulf official said two Israeli delegations will visit the emirate next week. Among them will be a team from the Ministry of Transport. The group will discuss a trade corridor connecting India, the Middle East and Europe.
“This is an opportunity to strengthen relations. We believe in this market… we think people should come here. There are many opportunities for cooperation,” the Israeli official said.
