Amid criticism over the recovery of the body of a lonely old woman in Dhaka's Pallabi, the police recovered the half-melted body of another woman named Selina Afroz from another house there.
It is initially believed that he died a few days ago. It is known that her husband and two children are expatriates in Canada.
On Thursday (June 4), Inspector (Investigation) of Pallabi Police Station. Hanif informed this information.
He said, “On receiving information from National Emergency Service 999, we recovered his body from House No. 14, C Block, Road No. 10, Section 6 of Pallabi Police Station. His body was in a semi-decomposed state. Later, his body was recovered and sent to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College morgue for post-mortem.”
She also said that her husband Mominul Haque and two children have been living in Canada for a long time. Deceased Selina Afroza lived in her father's ancestral flat due to family disputes. He moved to the country from Canada 12 years ago and lived alone in a flat in that house.
According to police and family sources, another sister of the deceased lived on the fourth floor. Her nephew Ashfakur Rahman last spoke to the deceased Selina Afroz at around 11 pm on May 26.
Recently, the police recovered the melted body of a woman from the house of road number 13 of section number 6, Pallavi. Among his four children, one is a joint secretary, one is a BUET teacher, one is a Canadian expatriate. And the mother lived in the school teacher's daughter's house.
