Following this, East Timor has become a strong market for Bangladeshi multinational brand Walton's TV export network.
It is reported that the 12th shipment of Walton TV was inaugurated in East Timor on April 26. A container ship loaded with Walton's TV products has already left Chittagong Port for East Timor.
Walton Hi-Tech Industries Plc Additional Managing Director Mohammad Yusuf Ali said, “Currently, Walton brand electronics and electrical appliances with 'Made in Bangladesh' tag are being exported to more than 55 countries in Asia, Africa, Middle East, Europe and America. This TV export is a huge milestone in the rapid spread of Bangladesh and other products made by Walton in East Timor.”

Currently Walton Television's major export market is Europe. Currently, Walton TV is being exported to more than a dozen European countries including Germany, Greece, Ireland, Poland, Spain, Italy, Romania, Denmark, Ireland, Netherlands. Apart from OEM, TVs are being exported under Walton brand logo in these countries. About 95 percent of Walton's total TV export revenue comes from the European market.
Meanwhile, Asia and Africa are also now major markets for Walton TV. The market is constantly expanding here. Walton TV exports to Sri Lanka, Somalia, Bhutan and Libya, including East Timor.
