Extent of cards to be increased in budget: Social Welfare Minister

In the upcoming budget, the scope of work in the family card, farmer card and religious sector will be increased, said Social Welfare Minister Dr. A Z M Zahid Hossain.

He said, “Allocations have been increased in the social security sector. Grants for treatment of critical diseases have been increased and doubled.”

He said these things to the journalists after the workshop organized at the Directorate of Social Services in Agargaon on Tuesday (June 2).

BNP's election manifesto has now become a national responsibility. Zahid said, “About 40 lakh 20 thousand people will be brought under the family card next year. Besides, the government is working with the goal of transforming orphan children into skilled manpower, not just shelter.”
