Tarek Reza of NCP got bail

Jatiya Nagrik Party (NCP) joint member secretary Tarek Reza got bail from the court in the case filed by Jhenaidah Chhatra Dal. However, in the same case, Jatiya Yuva Shakti organizer Ayan did not get bail.

He was released from Jhenaidah District Jail on Monday (May 25) around 10:30 am.

National Citizen Party (NCP) Joint Member Secretary (Office) Saleh Uddin Sifat informed this information.

He said that NCP's legal secretary Advocate Zahirul Islam Musa, co-legal secretary Advocate Humaira Noor, Advocate Arman Hossain, Advocate Zayed Bin Nasser, Advocate Mominul Hasan and Advocate Ismail Hossain heard in Jhenaidah court on behalf of Tarek Reza and Ayan.

According to court sources, the lawyers of the accused applied for bail in the court of Jhenaidah Chief Judicial Magistrate this morning. At the end of the hearing, Judge Tarek Razor granted bail. The court did not grant bail to Ayan Rahman Khan, who was arrested in the same case.

In Jhenaidah, a case was filed in the name of 22 people, including the central joint organizer of NCP, Tarek Reza. Enamul Kabir, the former vice-president of the District Students' Party, filed the case as the plaintiff. Another 50 to 60 unidentified people have been accused in the case.

According to the statement of the case, NCP chief coordinator Nasiruddin Patwari visited Jhenaidah on Friday. During his visit, the local NCP activists gathered illegally and attacked Chhatra Dal activists and plaintiffs.
