Information Minister of the Central Government of Pakistan, Ataullah Tara, confirmed this information in a message posted on social media X. All of the slain terrorists were members of Pakistan’s banned political group Tehreek-e Taliban Pakistan or TTP. Officially this group is called ‘Fitna Al Khariji’ in Pakistan. Atalullah Tarar also referred to the deceased as members of Fitna Al Kharijite in his interview.
Three Rangers officers were killed in a terrorist attack on the provincial headquarters of Pakistan’s Border Guard Force Rangers in Gulistan-e-Jawhar area of Sindh capital Karachi on Saturday night.
