US attack on Iran overnight Times BD BANGLADESH

The US attacked Iran for the second day in a row. The country has again launched this operation based on the incident of attack on a commercial ship. This information was reported in a report of Al Jazeera on Saturday (June 27).

Al Jazeera reported that the explosion was reported near the village of Tahrui, near the southern Iranian port of Sirik. US forces also attacked this area on Friday. Apart from this, Kesham Island has also been attacked, according to Iranian state media.

In a post on social media after the attack, US President Donald Trump said Saturday’s attack could turn into a more serious war if Iran does not meet Washington’s expectations. He strongly criticized Iran for violating the ceasefire. Although both sides have been making similar allegations against each other.

Trump wrote, ‘Iran will never learn. If this continues, we will not be able to be patient any longer. What we have successfully started, we will be forced to finish militarily. If that happens, the Islamic Republic of Iran will cease to exist.’

Earlier on Saturday, the Panamanian-flagged tanker ‘Kiku’ was damaged by an unidentified missile while passing through the Strait of Hormuz. However, no sailors were injured in the attack and there was no damage to the oil being carried.

Centcom said the tanker was carrying more than two million barrels of crude oil. It was damaged by a suicide drone.

Shipping monitoring website ‘MarinTraffic.com’ reported that the tanker had set sail from the Al Shaheen oil field on Thursday. It was scheduled to arrive at Fujairah port in the United Arab Emirates on Sunday.
