Ukraine missile attack on Russian defense factory

In a statement on Saturday (June 27), he said, the overnight attack caused a terrible fire at the ‘Titan-Barricade’ factory, which manufactures parts for artillery shells and missile launch systems.

At the same time, Ukraine’s intelligence agency SBU carried out a drone attack on the ‘Vatorovo’ oil pumping station in Russia’s Vladimir region. This is Ukraine’s second attack on the facility this month. This strategically important station has been used as a major logistics hub for the export of fuel oil to the Russian domestic market and abroad.

It should be noted that in response to the recent destructive attacks carried out by Russia in various cities of Ukraine, including the capital Kiev, Ukraine has increased the intensity of drone and missile attacks on Russian oil refineries and weapons production factories in the past few months. The war, now in its fifth year, has spread across a nearly 1,200-kilometer frontline, with Russian forces firing hundreds of drones and missiles at Ukrainian civilian infrastructure almost every night.

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s state-owned energy company Naftogaz said several of its production facilities were heavily damaged by Russia’s series of missile and drone attacks in the northeastern Poltava and Kharkiv regions over the past two days.

Zelensky also said that last week, Russia launched about 1,400 drones and 19 missiles targeting 15 regions of Ukraine. Strengthening air defense systems and increasing drone cooperation with allies are key priorities for Kiev.
