A warning posted on the verified Facebook page of the US Embassy in Dhaka on Saturday (June 27) said that any foreign visitor who misuses or becomes dependent on US taxpayer funded facilities may face severe consequences.
Nonimmigrant visa holders who misuse these facilities may have their visas revoked and may be ineligible for future visas, the embassy said.
Ensure that you are prepared to bear your own expenses while traveling to the US, the message states.
