• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with CGPA with second class or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university.

• Shorthand speed in Bengali and English is 50 and 80 words per minute respectively and computer typing speed is 25 and 30 words per minute in Bengali and English respectively.

Conditions of PWD Job Circular 2026

1. Candidates from all districts of Bangladesh can apply for the above mentioned posts.

2. Age of applicant will be determined on 01/08/2026. In case of departmental candidates should be employed for less than 02 years. Age limit for departmental candidates is relaxable up to 40 years. Employees working only in setup posts (other than Motorroller, Workcharge, Temporary Recruitment, Downer, Outsourcing) of Public Works Department will be considered as “Departmental Candidates”. Applicants as “Departmental Candidates” shall upload the newly issued certificate from their controlling authority (from the Executive Engineer regarding name, designation, place of work and date of employment) along with the application form. Affidavit in proof of age will not be accepted.

3. A person can apply for any of the above mentioned posts.

4. Original copies of all certificates must be produced at the time of oral examination and one set of attested certificates must be submitted along with the print copy of the claimed application form.

5. If any information provided or documents submitted by the candidate is proved to be false, untrue or inconsistent with the conditions sought in the notification or if any fake or malpractice is resorted to in the examination, the candidature of the concerned candidate will be canceled and legal action will be taken against him. The authority reserves the right to cancel the candidature of any candidate who has passed the examination after verification of the documents for recruitment. The decision of the appointing authority in the matter of appointment shall be final.

6. Personal and active mobile number should be provided in the application form.

7. Latest quota system/policy will be followed as per prevailing government rules for selection of candidates.

Age will be calculated as on 01 August 2026. General Candidates age should be between 18 to 32 years. However, the age limit for the post of Imam is 25 to 40 years. And the age limit is relaxable up to 40 years for departmental candidates under the setup of Public Works Department.
