The body of the auto-rickshaw driver was recovered from Ariyal Khan in Madaripur

Police recovered the body of an autorickshaw driver named Shuhin Sardar (30) from Arial Khan river in Madaripur's Kalkini.

The body was recovered from the river near Sahebrampur Launchghat area of ​​Sahebrampur Union of the upazila at around 5:30 pm on Saturday (May 23).

Shuhin Sardar is the son of Dulal Sardar of North Sahebrampur area.

According to local sources, Shuhin left the autorickshaw at home on Friday night and went out. Since then he has been missing. Locals informed the police after seeing his body in the river near Sahebrampur Launchghat area on Saturday afternoon.

Zahirul Islam, OC of Kalkini police station, said, “The deceased has injury marks on various parts of his body. Initially, it is believed that he was murdered. The matter is under investigation.”
