The 37-day continuous agitation of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) ended only yesterday. However, within 48 hours, cockroaches have again warned of a new movement. Now they complain that the Modi government is breaking its promise not to take any legal action against the arrested protesters.
According to NDTV sources, the CJP has demanded the release of all those arrested in the recent agitation. And if not, the new platform of Indian youth has announced that a strict movement will start from Tuesday (July 28).
According to reports, Abhijit Deepak-led ‘Telapoka Party’ called off the 37-day continuous sit-in at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar ‘for the sake of respect’ after one of its key demands was implemented, i.e. after the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
But CJP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka on Monday (July 27) addressed BJP leaders and Union Ministers JP Nadda and Jeetendra Singh in a post on social media, saying that the agreement of not taking police action against the protesters is being completely violated. Hundreds of students were arrested from Bihar and Bengal. There have been reports of arrests of logistics support volunteers in Delhi and surveillance and harassment of students in various states.
He said, we demand immediate withdrawal of all FIRs filed against the agitators, release of students and no new FIRs filed by the Delhi Police or the police of Center and BJP allied states as per the agreement. Otherwise, we will be forced to take to the streets again.
At the same time, the spokesperson of CJP also demanded that the written agreement to cancel the case be handed over to them by tomorrow as per the promise of discussion.
After Saturday’s third round of meetings with ministers at the Constitution Club, the CJP said the central government has agreed to provide adequate compensation to the families of students who committed suicide in the NET exam scam and to withdraw all FIRs against the agitators across India.
Presenting a five-point demand to the government, the CJP said that the next round of meetings will be held after four weeks.
After the ‘Chalo Sangsad’ program on July 20, several cases were filed against the agitators across India. From the beginning, the CJP stopped the movement on the condition of withdrawing these cases and not taking any legal action in the future.
