Asif took 15 crores and Hasnat 10 crores in revenue: Mostak Mia

Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan has taken Tk 15 crore and Hasnat Abdullah Tk 10 crore from the revenue of Comilla Zilla Parishad, Zilla Parishad Administrator Mostak Miah has alleged.

On Saturday (May 30), Mostak Miah was speaking at the meeting and discussion meeting on the martyrdom anniversary of BNP founder Shahid President Ziaur Rahman at Comilla District Arts Academy premises. At that time he made this complaint.

Mostak Mia is also in charge of Comilla division co-organizing secretary of BNP.

Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan, the current NCP spokesperson, was the advisor to the interim government. Hasnat Abdullah, who was out of the interim government, is now a member of Parliament. At that time, Mostak Miah brought forward the complaint of taking money from the revenue of Comilla Zilla Parishad.

He said, “Asif Mahmud took Tk 15 crore and Hasnat Abdullah Tk 10 crore from the revenue of Comilla Zilla Parishad. This is our Zilla Parishad's own revenue money. This is the condition of the coordinators. Even though they talk about the politics of Bangladesh coordination, they did not have it. This was their character during the interim government.”

Mostak Mia also said, “Today, the government is elected by the people of Bangladesh. Our leader Tarek Rahman is leading this government. We are working under his leadership. Today, the pressure of the destroyed economy has fallen on his neck. He is making every effort to pull the country's economy from the brink of destruction.”

Agriculture Fisheries and Livestock Minister Aminur Rashid Yasin was the chief guest of the event. Among others, Comilla City Corporation Administrator Yusuf Molla Tipu, Sadar Upazila BNP President Rezaul Karim and others spoke.
