According to the report of Indian media NDTV, the incident took place in Imadpur village of Pars Bigha police station area of ​​Jehanabad district of Bihar. The name of the deceased woman is Anshu Devi (25). She is the wife of Dharmendra Kumar.


According to police and local sources, other members of the family went to work in the field during the incident. Anshu Devi was alone at home at that time. According to the complaint, his brother-in-law Kunal Kumar came to the house and asked for food. He got angry because of some delay in giving the food and at one point attacked Anshu Devi with an axe.


When Anshu Devi died in the attack, Kunal severed her head from her body. The severed head was then allegedly hung on a tree in front of the house. After the incident, he did not run away and stayed near the house.


Local residents claim that Kunal Kumar is addicted to drugs. However, nothing has been officially announced by the police regarding this information.


After receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and recovered the body. The ax used in the murder has been seized and the accused Kunal Kumar has been arrested.
