A young man named Rubel Mia (32) died after falling from the roof of a moving train in Mymensingh. The accident took place in Sankipara area of ​​the city on Saturday (May 30) around 12 noon.
Rubel is the son of Abdul Malek, a resident of Daparpara area of ​​Dewanganj upazila in Jamalpur. He worked in a wall clock factory in Dhaka.
Aktar Hossain, OC of Mymensingh Railway Police Station, said, “When the Dewanganj commuter train from Dhaka to Jamalpur reached the Sankipara area, Rubel inadvertently fell between the two compartments of the train. He died on the spot. The police reached the spot and recovered the body.”
OC of Jamalpur Railway Police Station. Rabiul Islam said, “Rubel used to work in a wall clock factory in Dhaka. As he did not get leave before Eid, he was returning home on leave two days after Eid. He died after falling from the roof of the train on the way. After the legal process, the body has been handed over to his relatives. He has taken his body home.”
