Before the end of the month, the price of fuel increased again!


The new price of fuel oil has been fixed in the country. The price of octane, petrol and kerosene has been increased by Rs 5 per litre. However, the price of diesel remains unchanged. This information was informed in a press release of the Energy Department on Sunday.


According to the new fixed rates, the price of diesel at the consumer level will remain at Tk 115 per litre. However, the price of octane has increased by Tk 5 per liter to Tk 145, petrol Tk 140 and kerosene Tk 135. Earlier, the price of octane was Tk 140 per litre, petrol Tk 135 and kerosene Tk 130.


According to the people concerned, the price has been adjusted in the country’s market in accordance with the fluctuations in the price of fuel oil in the world market. The new prices will be effective from tomorrow, Monday.


Before this, fuel oil prices were revised on April 30.
