Iran announced a strict warning to the United States, all-out defense

Iran has reiterated its tough stance amid ongoing tensions with the United States. Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the country’s chief negotiator and parliament speaker, said Tehran would never surrender to the United States. Besides, he also said that Iran is ready for “full defense” against Washington’s violation of any agreement.

On Saturday (July 11), Qatar-based media Al Jazeera reported this information.

Ghalibaf said, ‘We have never stopped preparing to defend our country. If the Americans betray the agreement at any moment, we are ready for a full defense.’

He also said, ‘Ending war is a priority for the countries of the world. But everyone should know that this conflict will never end with the surrender of Iran.’

Ghalibaf issued the warning following a post by US President Donald Trump on social media. In that post, Trump claimed that Tehran and Washington had agreed to continue negotiations. But the ceasefire is ‘over’.

Meanwhile, the head of the country’s highest security agency, Mohammad Bakr Zolghadar, has warned that if any attack is made on Iran’s national infrastructure, Israel will be retaliated against. He gave this warning on Friday (July 10).

According to the French news agency AFP from Tehran, in a statement broadcast on state television, Mohammad Baker Zolghadar said, “Any attack on our infrastructure will be retaliated against.” The Zionist regime responsible for these crimes will in no way be safe from counterattacks by our fighters.’
