The United States launched a new attack on Iran overnight. In response, Iran launched missile and drone attacks targeting US military bases and other military installations in Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait.
Warning sirens have already sounded in Bahrain due to the fear of missiles and drone attacks launched by Iran. The country’s Ministry of Home Affairs urged citizens not to panic and stay in the nearest safe shelter.
Iranian news agency Tasnim News reported that a base in Kuwait was shaken by an attack by their troops.
Another source said that the attack was aimed at the headquarters of the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet in Manama, the capital of Bahrain. Then smoke was seen coming out from there.
According to CNN, Iran’s counter-attack began after the US attack. But the intensity of the attack that was at the beginning of the war has not been observed till now.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said the US had fired a cruise missile at a railway bridge in its Golestan province. And the attack on the bridge will be given a strong response.
