The ongoing protests at Jantar Mantar in the Indian capital New Delhi are intensifying due to the leak of medical entrance exam question papers. The main demand of the movement led by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) is the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The movement is gaining momentum in the rejection of his resignation.
This Thursday morning (July 23) the new announcement came from the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that those involved in question paper leak will be brought to justice and the trial will be speedy in court.
In a Facebook post, Modi wrote, “Nothing can be more important than the welfare and future of our youth! It has been decided to set up a speedy court to ensure swift and strict punishment of those involved in question cheating. The authorities and officials concerned have been directed to take all necessary steps in this regard. This is part of the series of initiatives taken to protect the interests of students.”
“Those who try to harm the future of our youth will not be spared in any way.”
Meanwhile, the protesters are demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Prime Minister Narendra Modi should apologize for the entire incident.
