The Israeli military has claimed the killing of Hamas’s senior military commander Adham Ibrahim Shaban Nasman in a joint military operation in the Gaza Strip. According to Israel, Nasman served as the head of the operations department of Hamas’s Gaza City Brigade.
In a statement published on Tuesday (July 21), the Israeli army said that this special operation was conducted last Saturday with the cooperation of the country’s internal intelligence agency Shin Bet.
Military sources also said that Adham Ibrahim Shaban Nasman served in the past as the commander of Hamas’s elite unit ‘Nukhba’ Special Force. Israeli authorities claim that he directly participated in the unprecedented attack on Israeli territory on October 7, 2023 and was involved in the hostage-taking of several people.
