Prime Minister’s Political Advisor Rashed Khan raised the question whether Nasiruddin Patwari is qualified to take on the shoes of Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.
He made this comment in a discussion titled ‘Unity, not division in building a justice-based non-discrimination society’ at Abdus Salam Hall of the National Press Club of the capital on Tuesday (July 28) morning.
Rashed Khan said, “Someone commented, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir is not qualified to get a ministry, it is even claimed that he is not qualified to be president. I want to know, is that Nasiruddin Patwari qualified to pull the shoes of Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir?”
He further said, “The kind of political culture that is being created through unnecessary and intemperate talk must be stopped. Hypocrisy and filth must be avoided. We want unity, and everyone must be sincere in establishing that unity.”
Calling upon the opposition party, Rashed Khan said, “I call upon you to stop the comments, statements, lies and misinformation politics that are being done against us.”
He also said that common people are trusting in various positive activities of the government. The political culture established by the Prime Minister of modesty, humility, sincerity and compassion has received a positive response from the people. Recently, primary school students went directly to the Prime Minister to present their demands.
He said that this proves that the Prime Minister is closer to the common people beyond the boundaries of protocol. At the same time, the initiative to significantly reduce the cost of food in the secretariat as a part of saving government expenditure is also a reflection of the government’s accountability and cost-effective policy, he said.
