Iran’s ‘surprise attack’ in Jordan Times BD BANGLADESH


Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched a surprise attack on US troops stationed in Jordan targeting US military forces deployed in the Middle East. They fired multiple ballistic missiles at US troops in Jordan early Wednesday morning.


The US Central Command (CENTCOM), based in the Middle East, referred to the incident as a ‘surprise attack’ by Iran on US forces in a CENTCOM announcement on Wednesday (July 29).


The statement added that all the missiles fired were intercepted midway. US military personnel currently stationed there are on full alert and on high alert.


The United States has attacked Iran for 14 consecutive days since the second week of this month. At this time, Iran also counterattacked. However, for the past three to four days, the United States has not attacked Iran again. In the meantime, Iran launched a surprise missile targeting its troops.
