Speak respectfully, Iran sends tough message to Trump


He stressed that Tehran will not tolerate any disrespectful language and will respond appropriately if necessary.


Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office on Monday (July 6), Trump said the US would win the Iran war ‘any way’.


Trump announced, “We’re either going to make a deal, or we’re going to get the job done.” It will not be difficult to finish the job.’


In a statement issued Monday, Zulghadar directly addressed the US president, saying Trump is now ‘confused’ to threaten 91 million people in Iran.


Julghadar said, ‘To the deranged president of America, who threatened 91.1 million Iranians today, I say: Earlier, as the president of a rootless country with only 250 years of history, you said the same thing about erasing Iran’s thousands of years of civilization. The only outcome for you was defeat, helplessness and a desperate plea for negotiations and a cease-fire.’


He insists that Iranians are not used to threatening language from foreigners and are not bothered by it.

“Iranians are not used to threatening language. So, talk to the Iranian people with respect; Otherwise, we will reply to you in a different language,’ warned the senior official.


The comments came as a clear rejection of Washington’s repeated attempts at intimidation.


This statement by the SNSC chief reflects Iran’s long-standing position of strength, dignity and self-confidence based on its ancient civilization and the nation’s unwavering will.
