Bangladesh Bank’s Foreign Exchange Policy Department (FEPD)-1 has issued instructions on Sunday (July 5). According to it, exporters will get cash assistance ranging from a minimum of 0.3 percent to a maximum of 10 percent depending on the product and sector. A total of 43 product and service sectors are covered under this facility. The government has announced this incentive from July 1 to June 30 of the current financial year. Bangladesh Bank said that all existing conditions, qualifications and procedures for disbursement of cash assistance will remain unchanged.
