The meeting was held separately at the BNP Chairman’s office in Gulshan of the capital on Saturday (July 4) evening. In the meeting, the future action plan of the party and the current political situation were discussed in detail. At the same time, the BNP High Command has indicated the announcement of new committees of some organizations.
According to party sources, in the meetings, Tariq Rahman laid special emphasis on maintaining organizational order, consolidating party unity and increasing close communication with the people. At the same time, he wants the cooperation of the organs and allied organizations to implement the election promises of the government. The leaders who participated in the meeting highlighted the organizational situation of their respective units and presented various proposals to make the team more dynamic. The BNP Chairman provided necessary guidance in view of these proposals.
Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP Convener and Member of Parliament Rafiqul Alam Majnu, Member Secretary Tanveer Ahmed Robin, Dhaka District BNP President Abu Ashfaq and General Secretary Nipun Roy Chowdhury participated in the meeting.
According to sources, this meeting was also scheduled to be held with Dhaka North BNP on this day, but it was changed due to unavoidable reasons. It is said that the BNP chairman may hold a meeting with North BNP in the next two-one days.
