BNP’s income in 2025 is Tk 22 crore. BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said that a major part of this income came from party membership renewals, various level committee subscriptions, donations and interest on bank fixed deposits.
He gave this information while talking to the journalists after submitting the party’s income and expenditure account to the Election Commission at Agargaon in the capital on Sunday (July 19).
Rizvi said the main sources of BNP’s income are party membership renewals, committee subscriptions at various levels, grants and interest from bank fixed deposits.
While commenting on the contemporary political context, he said, ‘Fishing in muddy water falls on its own.’
He also said that the party has spent 15 crore 26 crore 10 thousand 857 taka. Expenditure Sectors are: Office Management, Posters/Leaflets, Political Programs and Central Expenditure. And there is a surplus of 6 crore 93 lakh 54 thousand 325 taka.
This BNP leader said that the BNP has given this income and expenditure account as part of accountability to the people. He also said that it has not yet been decided whether candidates will be selected by party or alliance in the local elections.
